First Day at Taipei and more Shopping!

Hoaaaahmmm… *Yawning* We had a peaceful sleep last night, seems everybody so exhausted from a long flight ^_^ We started the day a bit late since we will take easy on the first day.

MRT Station

Our first stop today is Mengjia Longshan Temple. Its only one stop from Ximen Station and our hotel only 5 min away from Ximen MRT station *Woah, its so convenient 🙂 * To take trains, you will obviously need a ticket hehe… You can buy single journey ticket on machine or buy a Card. The ticket machine also easy to use as they provide English menu.

We bought Easy Card for our journey, it will cost you 100 TWD for the card and you can top up the card with as many value as you want. So, we put 500 TWD as the top up value and we can easily top up using machine or go directly to the ticket counter. It’s more convenient to have the card and its cheaper also, they have certain discount if you take transportation using this card 🙂

Datong – 13 Sep 2016

This morning, we started a bit late… We’re supposed to start at 8 AM but for some reason, we started at around 9 AM.

The Room

By the way, we stayed at Jinjiang Inn Datong Shenhua St Hotel. This hotel was almost like Ibis Budget style, the room was quite clean with standard bathroom even though one out of 6 rooms that I booked has a strong smell of cigarettes. The staff cannot speaks English at all and they have regulation that you need to notify them if you came more than 18.00 and notify here meaning you need to call them. This will be challenging for foreigner who can’t speak Chinese 😦 Thankfully, I have one aunty who can speak very well *fiuuuh…* 😀

Paspor Online? Gampang,kok ga ribet :p

Paspor sebentar lagi uda expired… Saatnya perpanjang,nih :p Sebelum-nya, aku pernah coba ini paspor online tapi ternyata yang sekarang sudah berbeda prosedur-nya dengan 4 tahun lalu. Sekarang, selain apply online, kuota harian dan antrian bisa langsung di-cek online *WOW… cool…*

Untuk cek jumlah kuota dan antrian serta lokasi kantor imigrasi yang menerima aplikasi online, bisa langsung menuju ke Informasi Antrian Paspor. Sedangkan untuk apply online, bisa langsung menuju ke Imigrasi dan pilih “Layanan Publik” -> “Paspor Online”
