Bali Barat – 30 December 2009

WOW…Fully end of trip… I have just arrived from Jakarta yesterday at around 11.30 pm hahaha… and this morning, I will go to Bali Barat Trip for 2 days with my colleagues huehehe… My friends picked me up at around 08.30 am. We rent Avanza for 8 people and went straight away to Bali Barat. Actually, we planned to go to Taman Nasional Bali Barat and then to Menjangan. Usually we went through Bedugul to Singaraja and then continued another one hour to Menjangan Island. But this time, we went through Jembrana ^_^ It took almost 2 and a half hour to reach Gilimanuk.

We stopped in Nyiur *something* restaurant to have lunch. Yeah…You cannot expect too much in a place like this 😀 and on our way there, we stopped in Taman Nasional Bali Barat Office to ask how we can go there. You have to look on the left side of the road… Pay much attention to the sign otherwise you will miss it. The office is right across the intersection between Gilimanuk and Taman Bali Barat. We went in to the office and they showed us which spot is good to be visited. They have a map and also some of the photos for each spot. We have to go there with a guide and they have a price list showed to us. No worries, you can use your own car to enter this site. But unfortunately, the price is for the international tourist. They don’t have the price list for the domestic so we have to haggle the price.

We agreed the price on Rp.160.000,- for 8 people included the guide. But some of us have changed their mind since it was raining and the officer said that it could be not many animal to be looked at except you want to enjoy the view not the animal. So…we change our course to Palasari Church. Its a church with Balinese Style, the people usually use Balinese dress to attend the public worship. But… We arrived in the wrong time… There was no worship that time, so we just enjoy the architecture and continued to Lovina to look for the hotel.

We tried to stop in Pemuteran to ask the room’s price since this place is a lot nearer than lovina. But 😦 the price is quite expensive… okay then… Just look in Lovina, guys and girl !! 😀 We choose Angsoka hotel. Its from Vera recommendation. She has came here before with her friends and its not bad. The price is Rp.150.000,- for 3 people and Rp.120.000,- for 2 people and all the price is because this time is the high season *you can imagine the real price when its low season :D* The hotel is cleaner that Purnama Hotel… And the room is bigger too… I think 5 people is still enough in the room hahaha…

Siobak Khelok

After putting our bag, etc to the room. We went straight to Siobak Khelok to have dinner. Its from pork ^_^ I don’t know the exact place but we got the information from the receptionist to go to Hardy’s Singaraja and ask someone there. We finally found it!! yay!! Buuuuut… OMG… The food >__< I cannot eat it…!! 😦 Its not because the food is dirty but I simply cannot eat pork… I ordered one plate of siobak and then gave 4/5 of it to my friend… T__T Siobak Khelok is a popular place for Siobak buat I don’t like it too much excluding the pork 😦 We went back to the hotel and all of us swimming in the hotel’s pool expect me and jenal.

And you can guess whats next 😀 they looked for a food again!! hahaha… I showed them the Chinese Food Restaurant I usually visited when I came here but unfortunately, the place is going to close. The name is Gandhi restaurant. So we went to another restaurant beside it. All of us is ordered Mie Pangsit except me hehehe… I ordered Mie Goreng ;p Yeah…again… the taste is so-so… 🙂 Item and Kemoceng bought Durian on our way home… They bought 3 durian for Rp.50.000,- and we have Durian party in their room!! hahaha… I only eat 3 or 4 pieces and then all of us is sleeping after that to recharge our energy to be used tomorrow. 😀
